  Protein powder I was looking for has been out of stock for months. I finally ordered online and 2/3 items were cancelled as they are out of stock (yet still appearing as available online). I was charged the full amount and 2 weeks later am still waiting for my refund. GNC is unsure why my refund hasn’t been issued yet. Tried to post this review on their site and was “blocked”. Reaching someone on chat is impossible as it disconnects. Finding a number to call and having the automated assistant allow a transfer to a live agent is even harder. Beware before ordering online and good luck if you end up needing customer service assistance.

  I have been a GNC customer for over 10 years. I buy the same protein powder for years, due to covid I bought my product online and order them early to make sure I didn't run out. I tried it last week and there is something wrong with the product it tastes like chemicals/soap. I have a newborn so its not always easy to find time to call. I took time out today figuring they would help me out. All they said was because I was 18 days over the 30 day policy they would do nothing, after spending 1.5 hours on hold on the phone. Their faulty product caused me to get sick. They would not make an exception even though it was their product that was bad and that with covid I changed my shoppingto try and be safe, it not that I just didn't like it or changed my mind. A company that doesn't stand behind their product, is not worth dealing with.
