- UVUnder the veilMar 11, 20265.0I had a partial knee replacement a couple of days ago, and cannot express my gratitude any other way that by saying what an "excellent surgeon" Dr. Phillip J Lahey Jr., is. He was punctual, attentive, direct, clear and extremely knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to have him as my surgeon. He is technically excellent and, yes, also pleasant and does smiles which is not a common trait in surgeons. I am doing very well on my second day, and was able to get up and used a commode with the help of a walker. Dr. Lahey is making a painful and difficult experience easy to navigate and conquer. I am very happy with the outcome, and can't wait to get to the light at the end of the tunnel. If you are thinking of having any knee replacements in the future and are hesitant, and perhaps confused about the results, I highly recommend you --and anyone else-- to see Dr. Lahey. He will get you back to walking safely, better and sooner than you expected. Any surgery hurts, of course, but after following his directions, you will get positive and satisfying results.
