My mom really looks forward to their time together, and she always tells me stories about what they did or talked about. You can tell she’s genuinely happy after spending the day with her. Sophia has become more like a friend to my mom. They laugh, they do little projects together, and she just feels comfortable with her. My mom lives alone, so knowing she has someone she trusts and enjoys being around means a lot to our whole family. It is exactly what we hoped for when we started looking for home care. What really surprised us was when Sophia helped my mom make spanakopita for a family holiday. Cooking has gotten harder for her, and seeing Sophia help her keep that tradition going meant a lot.
