  As a new patient, I was initially pleased with this office - the receptionist is kind and easy to work with and the after work hours are convenient. However, two recent experiences have led me to leave a 1 star review. First, the team completely botched my night guard process. The kid who took my first set of molds did so inaccurately leading to a guard that didn’t fit. At pickup, the woman tried to convince me it was fine - when the guard clearly did not fit in my mouth. Finally the dentist came in and agreed that the guard needed to be completely redone. It then took another set of molds and a week of delays before getting it. Overall, I would have happily ignored this except they referred me to a gum specialist who only comes in once a month. I waited for my appointment for 4 weeks, only to have the doctor look at me for 2 mins and then immediately use fear mongering tactics to get me to agree to a surgical procedure. Instead of staying to explain or answer my questions, he couldn’t wait to get out of the room and couldn’t even answer some very basic questions I had. When I complained, the office manager condescendingly tried to dismiss my concern as me being overwhelmed with information - how could I be overwhelmed with information if the doctor didn’t provide any? It felt like the classic scenario of a dentist trying to prey on new patients using fear to upsell and bill them for things they may or may not need. My old dentist that I saw 6 months ago never once flagged this as a concern. If you’re going to recommend a surgery, at least have the decency to stay in the room for 5 mins to talk about it. Would not recommend - I caution anyone who is a patient here, and question why this business is allowed to operate with such shady practices.

  Not only is the office beautiful, but the office staff are really nice. I usually get scared about getting the needle, but Dr.Marengi was so gentle that I didn't even know I was getting the shot. Thank you Dr.Marengi! You are the best!

  It was a such a pleasant experience. Office was clean, staff was friendly and most importantly, Dr was caring and the treatment was 100% painless. I strongly recommend Marengi Dental to anyone i know!
