  Mary Kate and her team supported us through a very difficult time in our lives. She and her team took care of my husband with kindness, compassion and professionalism. They were in our home 24 hrs a day attending my husbands every need with patience and tenderness. The members of her team were punctual and willing to do anything to make our life easier. Mary Kate was always a phone call away and would stop at the house whenever needed. She offered me guidance and support when I was torn about how best to care for my husband. She brought over supplies when needed and was there for us at every step. When my husband passed she was at my home right away taking care of contacting hospice. I would not hesitate to recommend her company to any one in need of her services. Thank you Mary Kate and team, especially Tia for supporting us in the loss of my husband and father of my children.

  Thanks to Murphy-Avis at Homecare Inc., my family was able to fulfill my mother's request to spend the last years of her life at home. From housework to meal prep, dressing to bathing, companionship to dementia solutions, Murphy-Avis and the wonderful staff were expert in providing whatever and whenever attention was needed. For 3 years our family has been comfortable and confident that our mom was safe and receiving the BEST care. Mom felt so comfortable with her caregivers, she considered them “her lady friends" and looked forward to their daily visits. I must say, it was a pleasure and relief for my family to know we could depend on Murphy-Avis to handle mom's end-of-life.   The best decision we made as a family was to retain Murphy-Avis to care for our Mom upon her return home from a stay at rehab. My brother and I interviewed several agencies prior to her discharge. After speaking with Mary Kate, we knew Murphy-Avis would be the right choice. She took time out to visit the rehab center to meet and introduce herself to my Mom. Mary Kate explained in full detail what to expect along with the level of service her caregivers were going to provide. I am happy to say our expectations have been exceeded on how everything has fallen into place. More importantly, we are very happy with the caregivers we entrust to be with her. The communication between Sue and I is outstanding. She is in contact with me on a weekly basis and I know in advance who is scheduled to be with my Mom on a particular evening. Each caregiver is prompt, caring, compassionate and is attentive to her needs. Each has been great company for her as well. I am able to sleep at night knowing my Mom is in a safe environment. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Murphy-Avis for all your at home care needs.

  The proprietor arrived at the residence without a written contract. All employees were verbally confirmed to have undergone background checks and received training in areas such as CPR and CNA certification. However, an individual was dispatched to the residence who lacked these qualifications and openly acknowledged their absence. Additionally, her notes indicated a lack of interaction with the individuals she was hired to assist. Given these circumstances, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone seeking care for a loved one.

  I have needed health care assistance with relatives over the years and have used Murphy-Avis at Home Care. They have been very helpful in finding caring staff to relieve the pressure from my family members.
