And although the Dr seemed knowledgeable, he was overwhelming when talking about himself which he liked to do. My concern is that he dictates what the front should charge regardless of benefits. Their hands are tied. He refused to bill according to my insurance benefits and was rude about it. They choose to be an in network contracted provider which is obviously to get people in the door. He claims he doesn’t make enough $$ from the insurance providers so offers “big discounts” to customers instead. I should have paid less regardless of his so called discount (which he gave every person in there while I was there). And it was no different than the posted price at the desk. Frustrating.
