Club Pilates Assembly Row is a boutique Pilates studio specializing in reformer fusion classes for anyone, at any age or fitness level. Pure to Joseph Pilates’ original Reformer-based Contrology Method, but modernized with group practice and expanded state-of-the-art equipment, Club Pilates offers high-quality, life-changing training at a surprisingly affordable price.
Rarely have I encountered such blatantly dismissive and unprofessional treatment of customers. My experience at this pilates studio was a complete nightmare from start to finish.
Arriving 7-8 minutes before class, I was met with utterly indifferent staff. No one bothered to show me around the studio, explain the rules, or show any interest in a new client. I had to ask where the bathroom was myself. It was immediately clear that customer care is not a priority here.
Upon learning that special socks were required for class, I discovered they could only be purchased - no rental option whatsoever. With my non-standard foot size, finding a suitable pair proved problematic. I managed to find only one pair in size L, which would quite likely have been too small, but I couldn't even try them on.
When it became clear that I couldn't pay with Apple Pay (which was nowhere disclosed!), I approached the trainer. During our conversation, she was hunched over her phone, texting someone, clearly annoyed by my presence. I don't understand how to talk to someone who doesn't even look at you.
The trainer stated that she couldn't let me into class. No attempts were made to find a compromise or alternative solution. For instance, I was ready to go to the nearest ATM after class and bring back cash for the socks, but trying to communicate with someone glued to their phone who clearly demonstrates complete disinterest in the customer proved futile.
In my haste to leave, I forgot my water bottle by the equipment. When I realized and returned, the door was already locked. But I had no desire to return to the studio after an hour. I hope my little purple favorite bottle will be useful to someone.
Moreover, they charged me for a "missed" class. This is unacceptable, considering I was ready to pay for socks with any of the five cards in my Apple Wallet, but the studio doesn't accept Apple Pay (which is mentioned nowhere). It appears that shortcomings in their payment system are passed on to customers.
Absolutely DO NOT recommend!

I just started with their level 1. Agree the booking policy is laughable but overall I am able to get classes. HOWEVER, this is not the place to go for a beginner no matter how much you see the phrase “all levels.”
If some instructors are trying to kill you while others are meh about teaching and can hardly be bothered to show you the moves they’re telling you to do, neither is an intro level.
So now you see how a poor booking system becomes a problem. If I knew an instructor was great, who knows if I’d be able to get into the class. Will I enjoy any of these classes? We’ll see. I was lulled into a false sense of security with my intro and now stuck with whatever might be available.
At the very least my stiff back always feels stretched out afterwards so there is some value to it. Clearly the (expensive) unlimited membership is the way to go if you know what you need, but I just want to work on a reformer by myself at this point. Actually, it’s strange they don’t offer an open gym session.

Excellent studio. The instructors are extremely helpful. I had a bad back when I started 9 months ago, my back has never felt this good.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! I would give Club Pilates ZERO star if I could. This place is EXTREMELY POORLY MANAGED! Inefficient communications and RUDE front desk staffs. They show literally no respect to customers and never respond to email/call unless customers show intention to cancel membership lol. If your call got picked up luckily, they would always "leave a note for manager to process" and never get that done. Only try this place if you want to fall for a SCAM.
