Since 1991, the dedicated practitioners and staff at Prima CARE have been committed to the doctor/patient relationship. We know that choosing a healthcare provider is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make. That’s why all of our providers are on your side and by your side, to give you the evidence-based medical care you need today and in the future. We provide services in the office, hospital, nursing home, and at a walk-in clinic. We even make house calls to home-bound patients who cannot drive.
Prima CARE has grown tremendously since its inception. We now have 160 providers who see patients in Fall River, Somerset, Tiverton, and Westport. Our facilities provide a full range of diagnostic and laboratory services, including MRI, CT scans, nuclear cardiac testing, ultrasound, and bone density testing in our new 60,000 square foot medical facility in Fall River.

- SSStephanieNov 14, 20251.0My husband was told they can’t accept him paying full cash price for treatment because he has insurance but it’s out of network. He decided to go there because he had severe shortness of breath, we’re right down the street and there’s a doctor in the building. They still asked him to go somewhere else as they did not want to treat him. As he left, I called to speak to the manager to help understand the situation. Supposably the manger who made this decision wasn’t there anymore so I’m waiting on this call back to understand why they couldn’t take a patient who is willing to pay ANY cash price for a medical emergency. The receptionist who was told to refuse him was also extremely mad I even called to ask how this works.
