I was not given proper instructions on how to prepare for the test in advance. The physician advised me not to eat before the test, but when I arrived, the test operator was unprepared and missing the required equipment. It has been more than four days, and I still have not received my report. When I called to follow up, I was told that the report is ready, yet it is still not visible in my profile. Overall, this was a frustrating and poorly managed experience.

Quest is going down fast. This location is horrible! What’s the point of making an appointment if you still have to wait over an hour to be seen and walkins are being called before you?! Absolutely ridiculous! They don’t value people’s time!

DO NOT COME HERE. Go to another quest location. I would give 0 stars if I could. Marie was absolutely horrible. Multiple times I’ve come here with my grandmother and she was unable to draw blood or find a vein. When she attempts to draw blood it is very painful and unsuccessful. I’ve given her the benefit of the doubt but yesterday I came here to bring my grandmother in for blood work, and we had the same issue. She left completely bruised and we had to go to the quest in Northborough instead. She tried both arms, wasn’t able to draw blood, and claimed we “didn’t drink enough water” (Which is impossible, we are constantly drinking well above the recommended amount daily and we have never had issues getting blood drawn anywhere else. it is a HER problem! She does not know what she’s doing!) she said she would try to draw blood from the veins in her hand, but I stopped her immediately and we left. She seemed extremely annoyed, rolled her eyes and would raise her voice and talk back to me in an extremely hostile and unprofessional matter multiple times throughout the appointment. Also we have United healthcare and she kept insisting that we had Medicare which was very odd. Not only does she not know what she is doing but she has zero customer service, hospitality skills, or empathy. On the other hand, Christine over at the Northborough location across from the plaza was nice enough to greet us with a smile, take us in for a last minute walk in appointment and got the job done within moments, quick and easy like a true professional. Thanks to her, my grandma got the bloodwork done needed for her procedure this week. We left satisfied, relieved, and have decided to come back to this northborough location for future bloodwork. Marie at 26 Julio drive needs to be let go. And I never say that lightly, but as someone who works for United Healthcare, her behavior and inability to perform simple medical routines is not professional, and needs to be looked into.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the treatment I received during my lab appointment. I had a scheduled lab appointment for 11:00 a.m. and signed in around 10:30 a.m. By approximately 11:15 a.m., I noticed that several patients who were scheduled for later times (including 11:45 and 1:15 appointments) were being called in before me. I continued to wait until 11:30 a.m. and still had not been called. At that point, I approached a staff member named Marion to ask when I might be seen, given that my appointment time had already passed. Her response was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. She raised her voice, refused to answer my question, and stated that she would be taking everyone else in the room before me, telling me I could wait an additional 20 minutes. I was left confused, upset, and deeply uncomfortable by both the lack of explanation and the manner in which I was treated. As a result, I chose to leave. I returned the following day, for a late afternoon appointment. The experience could not have been more different. The two staff members working at that time, Christine and Raiza Rosa, were patient, understanding, and professional. They made me feel welcome, respected, and safe. Their demeanor and care were exactly what I would expect from a medical setting. I want to be very clear that if Marion had been present during my second visit, I would not have felt comfortable allowing her to take my blood or handle my personal medical information. Her behavior demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism and basic interpersonal skills. Unfortunately, this was not my first negative encounter with her, which makes this situation even more concerning. I believe patients deserve to be treated with respect, clear communication, and professionalism at all times, especially in healthcare settings. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
