This year I have had my shoulder assessed and surgery performed by Dr. Walcott (labrum repair), and have also seen Dr. McPhee about wrist problems. The quality of care I've received has been nothing short of excellent. I was amazed at how little pain I've had in my shoulder recovery, and the nurses, assistants, and staff have all been fantastic. Everyone is courteous, competent, and helpful. Thank you Tufts Orthopedics!

Medical staff was awful. No communication skills - let alone medical help. I saw two drs. First one not helpful. I was given a cortison shot by a PA. I asked if a dr could do it - nope they "train" their PAs to do it. It did nothing. Months later I asked to see another dr. Again, no help. I was also told 2 different ways to wear a knee brace by 2 different staff members. The brace slid down my knee no matter what I did and I was made to pay for it. I continue to have meniscus pain for over a year. So a few days ago, on the recommendation of someone who had 2 successful knee replacements I went to her dr at Agility. He recommended cortisone. I asked who would do the shot - the DOCTOR. Then a PA rolled in an ultrasound so DOCTOR would know where to inject. Three days later my knee feels better than it has in 15 months. So I've been in pain for over a year because the doctors I saw either don't have the equipment or the caring to help people? Very sad state of our health system. By the way, I continue to see a PT and exercise as instructed, so I'm not relying on meds or cortisone to treat the problem.

Terrible experience. There was no communication with me on what needed to happen. Everyone in the office seemed equally confused and on different pages.
