  This place is top notch! One of very few (if any) places where you can bring your favorite frames to add updated lenses. On top of that the place is filled with pretty frames to choose from. And then there is Shelly! Knowledgeable, kind, friendly and fun to chat with. Highly recommended!

  Huge shout out to Shellee! I run a small but mighty non-profit called Vision for Chicago. Shellee and I connected in an optician group, and they donated almost 300 frames to our organization! Every new frame that gets donated to us is 3 people that I can use pay for their lenses, so this donation is going to go a long way! Thanks so much!!

  The woman who I believe is the owner, helped me and my daughter find the perfect pair of glasses and was so nice and professional the whole time. She made sure to take the time to make my daughter feel comfortable and called us once everything was ready for a fast and easy pick up process. I really can’t say enough how nice she was, and how much it meant that she took the time to squeeze us in without much notice and helped us every step of the way. I will definitely be recommending her to family and friends. Thanks again for such great service!

  We just had the VERY BEST experience working with Shellee at the Eye Place. She was able to give us an appointment very quickly and while we were there, we had her undivided attention. She is incredibly knowledgeable about “all things vision/glasses” related. We had a very unique situation as my brother needed glasses after a stroke and she understood all the idiosyncrasies involved. She was able to inform us and guide us given his needs. Beyond her outstanding professionalism and knowledge, she is incredibly kind and so much fun to talk to. You feel as though you are a part of her family from the first minute you arrive. Her selection of frames is vast and there is a great mix of styles to satisfy even the most discriminate consumers. The turn around time is the fastest that I have ever experienced in my many decades of purchasing glasses. The glasses were a perfect fit right out of the gate! However, I am confident that if there were any issues, Shellee would work hard to be sure that we walked away 100% satisfied. We will never again go elsewhere for our eyewear needs from now on. The Eye Place is one of those “rare to find these days” little gems where the old values and characteristics of quality, professionalism, satisfaction and compassion still exists. Give Shellee a shot to meet your needs and I guarantee you will walk away a part of her family too and a 100% satisfied customer.
