  My mother purchased a high-end Phonak hearing aid for approximately $5000. After she passed away, I started using the hearing aids. I realize that these devices have a fundamental design flaw. The case does not have a battery. What is more amazing is that when the power is removed from the case the device thinks it is in your ear. I had a important business dinner and realized that all the charge has dissipated after I had charged them the previous night. Of note, the new audiologist and Matt are both very good. I wonder if the private equity ownership is picking the best devices for the patient. initial review 2021: I rely heavily on reviews myself. Based on the reviews for this provider, I chose them. My experience was entirely consistent with the others. This is an outstanding company. I would highly recommend them. I will certainly use them in the future. I had brought my mother in to see if her Starkey hearing aids which she had purchased elsewhere could be altered and fixed. Joe made a significant difference. The hearing aids fit my mother very well now. On another note, the patient coordinator who I believe is named Jenny, is wonderful. I look forward to a long-term relationship with this company.

  Outstanding customer service and very friendly staff. My mother-in-law recently moved to the area from CT and her hearing aids weren't working. My wife and I were unfamiliar with how they worked. We found EAR on the Starkey website as Preferred Professional and scheduled a visit. So glad we did as the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. They cleaned the units, put in new batteries, and tested them. Dr Flanagan then took time to explain all aspects on use and care. Absolutely five star service !

  I have been completely satisfied with the hearing aids that I obtained at EAR a few years ago. The ongoing service and adjustment of these devices is done by a competent and knowledgeable audiologist, Julie Bramley. She is also pleasant and easy to talk to, as is her assistant, Jennifer.
