Built from the ground up, Apotheco Pharmacy Newton opened its doors in October 2020. We are a full-service pharmacy with a clinical focus in Dermatology and we are located on Needham St. in the plaza known as Needham St. Village Shops. We are four minutes away from Newton Center and an eight-minute drive from Chesnut Hill. We are close to a number of restaurants, boutiques, and natural parks, like Newton Upper Falls.
Apotheco Pharmacy Newton offers free courier delivery to its customers, and there is also plenty of free parking in the back for those who want to stop by and check out our digs in Beantown!

She was kind and professional and explained that newer staff may not yet be fully trained to handle situations like this with appropriate care and concern. I appreciate her effort to address the situation. (2 star) 1 star: The staff at Apotheco Pharmacy were consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I attempted to fill a prescription from my dermatologist through Apotheco only because my physician specifically recommended them for medications not covered by insurance. That decision turned out to be a mistake. My prescription was lost or stolen in transit and never delivered. After waiting a week for it to show up, I contacted USPS, who informed me that Apotheco Pharmacy—not the patient—is required to file the missing package claim, as they are the sender and hold the necessary shipping and insurance information. When I contacted the pharmacy to relay this, I was spoken to as though I were an inconvenience for expecting basic accountability. At no point did staff take responsibility for the missing prescription or propose a reasonable solution. Instead, the burden was placed entirely on me, despite the fact that I never received the medication. This is unacceptable. A competent and customer-focused pharmacy would have immediately initiated a replacement or refill while resolving the shipping issue internally. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and ownership displayed by Apotheco Pharmacy is deeply concerning. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone, particularly patients relying on timely access to essential medications.
