Two pairs of glasses had the same prescription. But one was, for me, clearly and repeatedly better for distance vision. With patience and careful listening, Patricia figured out that having stepped on one pair of these glasses a while back, I altered the angle between lenses and the earpieces, making the angle more acute and allowing for sharper distance vision. Voila! Mystery solved.
