  Hi Folks.... Something you need to know.... especially Guy's !! If you need a "blood test" at any time and you are going to have your" PSA-BLOOD " analyzed, ALL THE MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS should be advising you that Heavy Exercise-- a BIKE RIDE and even SEXUAL INTERCOURSE or Exertion on your body can possibly result in incorrect PSA Blood readings!! If you do any of the items noted above before a test you should wait at least 48 hours minimum, of no events before your PSA Blood test to get accurate readings! Reschedule if you have to!! All that anyone has ever asked, or stated is "DID YOU FAST"!! You should be getting advised of the other things I noted above. The Medical field is doing us a huge injustice by not explaining these facts to us. Aside of "me" mentioning this, it is noted in medical journals that's PSA results can be affected by these events. I hope more Medical professionals read this as well as the ones administering the Blood Test, it should be brought to our attention!! So far it has not, and that is WRONG. Ultimately a possible waste of time and money . I have spoke to others that had bike rides and other events and had "elevated results" only to go back for a second test of more accuracy. All this is a NEEDLESS waste, worry and costing everyone !! Good luck,-good health to you.
