Don’t go here. Listen to the other reviews. You’re better off just going to the ER. I’ve received a total of five different bills over a period of a few months, most from sketchy third-party payment portals. The whole process is horribly managed.

FYI: this urgent care is associated with a hospital and your insurance company may not cover any of the costs

This place is quite a ball of confusion. The first time I went I made an “appointment” online and waited until said time to go. Upon arrival I was told that the “appointments” really weren’t appointments and that all cases were triaged so while you may sign for X time, you may not been seen for quite while after that time depending on the cases that come in while you’re there. Fast forward to the 2nd time I went to this facility: last weekend with my son who came down with pink eye. I made another “appointment” and decided to just head over and actually arrived about an hour before my scheduled time. My son was immediately taken back and when I expressed how surprised I was at how fast we were seen I was told again, that cases were triaged. Now, tonight a week later I find myself with my son’s case of pinkeye and proceeded over the facility. I did not see the sign in sheet and someone who came in after me signed in and was called back first. I said, “oh I’m sorry….I was actually here first but didn’t see the sign in sheet”. The registrar curtly responded “I guess you should sign in”. After she takes me back to get checked in and I tell her why I am there she then asks if I have an appointment and explains that I can’t be seen until 9pm (5 hours from now) and I can come back later. I said “ok, I was told taht the appointments were basically a throttling tool and that all cases were triaged”. She the told me no, that they see patients according to appointment times. I opted to leave as they clearly operate on different processes depending on who walks in the door. My advice, is to find yourself another urgent care location or just wait to be seen by your regular physician. For a system where healthcare has the costs it does, nobody should have to deal with this. And to the woman who was registering patients on 2/4/24 at 4pm, your customer interaction skills leave nothing to be desired.

I was hopeful that this place would improve after the Tuft’s Medical Center merge but it hasn’t. It is unfortunate this place is so bad bc I receive all my other care at hallmark facilities and they are wonderful. I’ve had many issues with billing at this urgent care in the past. Staff are fine but not the nicest. I really, really did not want to go here but every other option closed. Now over 3 months later I am stilling fighting with their billing department, which I have done every other time I have visited this location. If you need to go to urgent care I strongly suggest you find an AFC Urgent Care.
