  I cannot say enough good things about Mattapoisett Family Dental. I have had some scary dentist visits and have avoided the dentist for a while. On top of that, I just had a baby a couple months ago and recently went through COVID, the flu, and shingles — the last thing I needed was a dental emergency. But I ended up with severe facial pain and had no choice but to go. I found Dr. Awad, and honestly, he saved me. At my very first appointment, he was able to remove my wisdom tooth right on the spot — and it was the most gentle experience I could have imagined. He took extra time to make sure I was fully numb, and I truly didn’t feel any pain. The entire visit was quick and smooth, and I was able to drive myself home to my baby all within about an hour. A special thank you to Jen, the assistant who first spoke with me and helped during the extraction. She was so patient, calm, and reassuring, which made a huge difference for someone with dental anxiety. Not all heroes wear capes — thank you, Dr. Awad and team!

  I had an urgent visit to the Office my Tongue was rubbing against a rough part of a tooth in the back of my Mouth. Dr. Awan filed it down and polished it. Good as new. Very friendly and personable.
