- BTBennett TurkAug 1, 20255.0I have had dozens of planet fitness memberships. The worst I've seen was in Washington DC. It was just gross in terms of cleanliness. This one pales in comparison and is the best planet fitness I've gone to. The equipment works well and is well maintained. There is also a good variety of machines and usually enough to go around on busy days. The staff at this location is pretty good with taking out the trash and it seems to be pretty clean considering the amount of people who go through in a day. They are also polite and professional. The patrons do tend to make a mess out of the floors and sinks in the men's restroom area. You must keep in mind that hundreds of people flow in in out of there. The staff does the best they can. I give the place a thumbs up overall. The only other gyms I've been to on the Cape are the Falmouth fitness center and the Barnstable YMCA. Both are also good. Edit: I have noticed a significant improvement in the cleanliness issues that I had mentioned. It was more of a problem during the summer months during tourism season when the gym is busy.
