  I was a patient of Dr Ewald for nearly nine years. He is an excellent cardiologist that’s knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. Sadly however, I can’t even remotely describe his office staff in the same light. It’s actually become prohibitive for me to even call there anymore. I simply refuse to submit myself to this kind of treatment any longer.

  Like others, this facility is also automatically changing the long scheduled specialist appointments to nurse practitioners. I called to change it back to specialist and they put in me in waitlist for 4 months and when I complaint they are so rude to say it is what it is, either go with NP or wait or just cancel and hang up the phone.

  I initially saw Miret Ibrahim, M.D. for shortness of breath and chronic fatigue. I was concerned that I might have a blocked coronary artery. She very attentively listened to me.....always a good marker of a physician to me. She ordered an echocardiogram; I had already passed a stress test ordered by my PCP. The echo also negative. Good News. Nevertheless, she did not dismiss my overriding complaints/symptoms. She scheduled an angiogram at LGH. My angiogram was performed by Nathan Riddell, M.D. of MVCA, LLC. Dr. Riddell introduced himself to me, cordially and professionally, in the Heart and Vascular Center of Lowell General Hospital. He explained the procedure adequately and was very reassuring. During the procedure, Dr. Riddell was communicative and supportive; I appreciated this....a cath lab can be intimidating. The procedure went quickly and, fortunately, no blockage. I can strongly recommend MVCA. And, the staff at LGH was A+.
