Rebekah at Target Framingham optical walked me through a step-by-step the process of ordering new glasses and new contact lenses. She was helpful, patient, insightful, and comforting. The day I scheduled my visit, I came right after work and it was a snow day, I ended up delaying like 15-19 min. There was a lady up front that I spoke with and she constantly felt the need to throw in my face I was late a few times. When the doctor arrived, she started asking me questions upfront about what was my last prescription and that I should know. I told her nowhere else had ever required that, they always crafted the prescription based on the appointment. The other ladies on the front kept questioning me with medical questions and it was none of their business, I felt uncomfortable and exposed. Questions that they should ask me inside the room were being asked upfront. I never felt so uncomfortable in my life and I constantly felt air of judgment. The lady up front was like” yeah she was 30 min late” to the doctor and looked at me with disapproval. I don’t accept going to a place to feel judged like I did. The doctor is great, I just wish she asked personal questions inside the room not upfront. The whole experience was awful and at the end they didn’t even ask if I wanted to schedule an appointment or not. They simply scheduled it for the next year. Never coming back.
