A few years ago this place was great, hence the high ratings and I used it a couple of times before. But it seems since then the staff became complacent and the manager doesn't seem to care. If you are OK being ignored and having no clarity on when your glasses would be ready - this place is for you. Ah, also if they make a mistake, that's your fault as a customer, or the lab's fault, or the security of the mall, never LensCrafters'.

This store scores 2.2 in the yelp, and they totally deserves that. I had an extremely RUDE experience at this location.
I picked up my glasses today and was shocked to see the lenses were three times thicker than my existing pair, even though the prescription is exactly the same. The new glasses cost nearly $500, yet the product quality was far below expectations.
When I expressed my concern and asked about a return/exchange, the staff member became incredibly RUDE. He repeatedly said “I TOLD YOU”, even though he never explained anything about lens thickness when I placed the order. He then tried to blame the prescription, insisting it must be different, even it was exactly identical.
I said he was being rude, he responded “YOU START, YOU STOP.”
This was unprofessional, unnecessary, completely RUDE!

Ordered a pair of prescription glasses.
Several weeks later I called to find out what happened (no one called me).
The lab had rejected the inspection on my glasses multiple times and restarted my order multiple times.
I told them I was giving them a week to get my glasses before I was cancelling the order.
A week passed. Again, no call about the status so l called back and cancelled the order.
A few minutes later, they called me and said they couldn't cancel the order over the phone and that I had to come into the store to cancel the order.
The whole experience was a complete waste of my time and money.
I won't be returning.

Interestingly, the experience after you commit to buying glasses drops significantly. Before buying, getting quick replies and help. After buying, for delivery not much communication and feeling ignored. Is it because of short term incentives for the sales reps? Seems they are not as interested in making sure the customer will continue being a repeat customer. I am not sure anymore if I will choose LensCrafters next year.

Tim and Delilah and James were so patient, helpful, and honest about what looked good and what didn’t. They also stayed late to help me finish when I had trouble with an exchange. If you want good advice from trendy people who know what looks right on your face, come here!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
