This morning, I called the Auburn store at exactly their opening time. Chris answered, and was able to help me through a fairly tough situation. I live in Texas, where my grandson purchased his glasses from LensCrafters last August. He is currently attending college in Worcester. He lost his glasses and is struggling to be able to see things on the computer. Chris was able to look up his records, confirm availability in the store of the lenses, and match almost identically the same frames. They will be ready in just a few hours and my grandson is elated. Chris verified insurance, gave directions to the store by Uber, and basically just did everything imaginable to make the experience exceptional! Couldn’t be more pleased with the excellent performance of Chris today.

Great experience all around Chris, Maxx, and Claire were amazing. Amelia was the person to take my first initial order and made sure I got the clarification as to what every detail of lens and frame and price came out to be, solid person!

Front desk is a joke!!! Trying to give insurance info over the phone and the girl said my member ID “should start with alphabet”. I said no, it’s just numbers and she had no idea what to do. I gave her the numbers and she said she’d call and check benefits and give me a call. She never called….when I showed up 10min before the appointment she said she was just about to text me. Yeah right! She was sitting scrolling on her phone. Then she asked all over again like we’ve never spoken. She never called and checked while I was there and instead, she just told me she doesn’t accept my insurance and I had to pay full price. Without ever checking anything…. Friggin joke!!!! I will never go back and never buy glasses from LensCrafters… ever. Scratch and dent type of place. Go anywhere but here.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
