The Laboratoire national de santé is a public health player that is, thanks to its international expertise, a key pillar of the healthcare system in Luxembourg and in the Greater Region. Under the auspices of the Luxembourg Ministry of Health, the LNS is today an interdisciplinary institute which serves the country and its inhabitants with its complementary team of 400 employees, contributing relevant expertise and excellence to the public health sector. At its headquarters in Dudelange, the LNS runs four scientific departments in the fields of medical biology, microbiology, forensic medicine and health protection, as well as the National Center of Pathology and the National Center of Genetics.
