  My son is currently in Lincoln Nova and trying to reach him is a 3 day ordeal. DO NOT put your child here. The staff acts like they don’t care if you ever talk to your child. Your just a huge inconvenience for them!

  I checked into Lincoln Nova back in 2024. It was a very nice place when you walk in the building you feel comforted and like you are going to be in good hands. While I was in detox all we ever did was go outside and smoke and sit in our room it made me think more about using. I was there 5 days and seen my counselor Kandy one time. I was not feeling good so yes I needed the rest but I also feel like there should be more check ins by the staff and more one and one sessions with your counselor even just for a brief moment until you become residential. I was there 5 days seen my counselor once the first day I was there and there were no group meetings or activities nobody came in my room and checked on me all they would do is come to the door and holler for us to get breakfast, it’s a very nice place and the other patients I met there were nice and was what I looked forward to during the day was sitting outside under the gazebo talking to them because there was never anything else planned for the day. My experience was depressing and resulted in me AMAing out after 5 days into my 28 day stay. I was not confident I wanted to use I was there on my own will and no resources or meetings or any counseling at Lincoln Nova helped me want to stay and complete the program so I left. Me and my boyfriend left and he was epileptic and they would not give him his medications when he left even tho he was also there on his own free will all of your things should be returned to you they gave him this medication everyday he took it twice a day so the following weeks he had multiple seizures until we were able to get him more medication, Very Scary I felt like it was life or death sometimes. And also a couple not all of them but a couple of the staff are very rude and get too friendly with the patients cursing at the patients in a I guess u can say “playful” way and also flirting very unprofessional; I would not recommend this facility to anyone.
