Have been attending pulumary rehab for four years and have been happy with my experience. Recently there have been new rules set in place from the top with rigid time constraints as to arrival and one hr exercise limits making it feel very corporate, rushed and stressful. As one who struggles with breathing feeling rushed to exercise is anger provoking and am resenting my time there since the rule changes . If it doesn't return to the former format I will look for another place that will not pressure me with time constraints

The staff are professional and extremely helpful and caring. I would like to give a special thanks to Natalie she is the best nurse I have ever known. Natalie was there whenever I needed her and definitely a team player, extremely supportive and caring. I would also like to thank Dr James Marney, the ER doctor who figured out my diagnosis, Dr Raphael Field who took care of me while I was at Touro and of course Dr. Frank Wilklow the best cardiologist I have had the pleasure to meet. Dr Wilklow is extremely knowledgeable ,great bed side manners and a true patient advocate.

Removing Longterm Cardiac Care Patients from their equipment (gym equipment is inadequate for numbers now using it...i.e., I couldn't get on the equipment I needed) is SUB-OPTIMAL and ILL ADVISED. Thinking this was an appropriate move is FANCIFUL. Respectfully, Harris M. Blackman, MD

I once spent a whole month in Touro hospital, because of cancer. As far as hospitals go, I thought I died, and went to heaven ! All the doctors, all the nurses, everyone in the hospital, was so courteous and polite, and so professional ! Even the janitors would come in, and say do you need anything, some water, you want me to get you a nurse, whatever you need let me know. They were janitors ! ! ! Even the ladies at the information desk, on the first floor, they seem to know every inch of the hospital, they are an extreme help, anytime someone walks in ! ! Anytime you pass anyone that works for Touro, in the hallway, they always say hello. Whether it's nurses, doctors, janitors, information desk, they're always saying hello to you ! ! The training for Touro must be extensive, they know how to make people heal, by making them feel like they walked into their own home, if not a better home ! ! ! I once told my other half, who was like a brother to me, if you get sick again, go to Touro, and you'll know what I mean ! I had told him this, because he had already gone to a few different hospitals. 6 months later, he got pneumonia, he went straight to Touro, when he saw me again, he said you were right, it's like you died and went to heaven, when you're at Touro ! ! He told me if he ever got sick like that again, he was going straight to Touro ! Somebody rear-ended the vehicle I was in, on March 17th 2026, I needed an ambulance. The ambulance wanted to take me to UMC. I specifically told them, I don't want to go to any hospital but Touro ! ! ! { "I know I will always get the best care there ! ")

Seeking unexpected medical treatment out of country is nerve wracking, however - from the pleasant greeting from the on-site Emerg Security Office, to the courteous In Take Clerk, to the professional and patient Physician, Physicians Assistant and RN - the level of care, attention to detail, thoroughness and demonstrated expertise of the entire team was nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL. Thank you. Thank you to everyone.
