My elderly mother went to the ER for a head laceration she obtained our last night of a family vacation due to a trip on n uneven side walk. She arrived via ambulance approximately 6:35 pm. She wasn’t stitched up until approximately 11:30 pm. She went through many test such as a CT scan for her head, a seperate scan for neck , and a chest scan. Where I see the head scan I do not understand the chest scan at all. My mom was never offered a drink for her entire 5 hour stay. The doctor, who we don’t fault at all, was on his own in the ER up until the last hour or so. The nurses did nothing to help. He was handling the entire department on his own with no true help from his staff. My mom should have never had to wait as long as she did and I truly blame the “support staff”. My mom’s monitors were beeping for hours. When her nurse finally came after in inquired she was very rude. She fixed the problem within less than 5 minutes ( granite she had come before and acknowledged the problem and dismissed it and went back to sitting at her computer ). After finally getting sticked up, The doctor asked my mom’s nurse to clean her up. She came in and barely cleaned her up , refused to bandaged her ( saying no and she would work, even though I literally bought a bandage at cvs that covered it just dine ). My mom left the hospital with her nurse barely saying a word , and blood all over her head ; wound exposed to all the elements. Again , the solo er doctor was running the entire department acting as the doctor , social worker, the administrator, the LPN, the RN, and even the receptionist. I have been in a lot of hospitals as a cancer patient both city and suburban and this was ridiculous. One man should not be running an entire department alone.

I brought my son in for a staph infection that wasn’t responding to antibiotics while on vacation here. The staff was so kind and helpful. They got us in quickly and removed/drained the abscess. The doctor and nurses were so sweet and patient with us both. It was such a great ER experience.
Top notch nurses and doctors.
Came in (while on vacation)by ambulance. Had several food poisoning.
Tiara, Kimberly, and Tre took the BEST care of me. Always put my care top priority even though they had many patients.
My doctor was awesome and provided excellent care. I appreciate his aggressive testing to make sure I felt better.
Im blessed to have been in such great care.
Thank you LCMC from your #1 TN fan

Everyone was so nice. Came in with a non-emergency issue but needing to get seen before getting on a cruise ship. The staff and professional nurses were amazing and kind.

The staff didn’t believe that I had been brutally attacked, yet again by my 16 year old son. CT scan showed nothing apparently, though I urinated pink for nearly 2 weeks, couldn’t lay on my side, had trouble breathing, bending, lifting and getting myself upright and continued headaches from the trauma. They ask if I wanted to file a police report, I said yes. Never happened. They discharged me the next morning.Ripping out my IV, I bled all over my white linen outfit, couldn’t find anyone to help. I waited forever for transportation home and just decided to hoof it home.
I find myself in a situation where I have to go back there AGAIN. Some things are great there, others are awful.
