The Read Eye Center is conveniently located 2600 Tower Drive, Suite 111 in Monroe, Louisiana. W. Jason Read, MD proudly provides quality eye care for the whole family with state-of-the-art technology. In addition to routine eye exams, Dr. Read specializes in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, glaucoma, and diabetes. Dr. Read is a native Mississippian who has an undergraduate degree in Biological Engineering from Mississippi State University. He graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1997. He completed residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Mississippi in 2001 and has been Board Certified since 2002. Dr. Read has practiced in the Monroe area since 2005, before opening Read Eye Center in February of 2011. Read Eye Center is a dream that has been supported by his family and friends. Patients have enjoyed being part of a new state-of-the art eye clinic, and love the care and support they receive as he strives to provide the best medical eye care available in our community. Dr. Jason Read is a Board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, eyelid surgery, glaucoma surgery, and diabetic eye care and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
