  Sanova Dermo always a pleasant experience. Staff always so kind and Dr Charles always takes time and doesn’t rush the appointments. I get yearly checkups for skin cancer and occasional Botox treatments at metairie Road clinic. I highly highly recommend this Dermatology practice.

  3 stars because of one good visit and one bad one with the same doc. I went last year for a routine cancer check and everyone was wonderful, informative, and patient (5 star experience). I had some new skin conditions that sketched me out so I revisited last week and had a less than satisfactory experience. To clarify everyone was very kind and helpful except the doctor. I don’t know if that’s because I was 1 minute late, if I was self pay (long story but the day before I was notified that I was dropped by BCBS), or if it was because the doctor was at work while clearly being sick. Either way, I felt rushed during my visit. I was sassed at least twice by the doctor during our rushed conversation. And they referred me to the hand center for a growth in my *foot*. I will probably go back in the hopes that this visit was just a fluke, but also it’s hard to find a Derm that isn’t solely focused on cosmetics.

  I've been unable to connect with an actual person to cancel an upcoming visit and reschedule my appointment. I spent 5-10 minutes talking to a robot that was unable to help me. After being transferred to the actual office and stating that I needed to reschedule my appointment, I was placed on hold. Then, the robot eventually came back on and stated no one was available to help and to leave a message. This is absolutely ridiculous! I WILL NOT pay a "no show" fee if they don't show the cancellation!!!
