  TruHearing (via Humana) sent me to the closest office to my house for free hearing test—was told I could order SIGNIA hearing aids for $699-$999 at this office if I decided to do so after my test. I was crying after my test results confirmed bad hearing loss and I couldn’t understand everything the Rep (Denham Springs office / Brian Eskew) was saying and I was upset & vulnerable…I was told they could not sell me a SIGNIA hearing aid that my hearing was so bad that I would need to purchase their Miracle Ear hearing aids to be able to hear properly…Mr Eskew promptly proceeded to print out a document he had me sign stating he gave me “the Humana insurance discount” (I’m thinking the SIGNIA prices after Humana pays for $699-$999 my out-of-pocket cost (NOTE: SIGNIA hearing aids are made by the SAME manufacturer and comparable aids, costing THOUSANDS LESS than Miracle Ear for SAME results! Mr Eskew took the “MIRACLE EAR SCAM APPROACH”, which is no secret as revealed on internet and all social media (hence Facebook Miracle Ear Sucks Group, YELP Complaints, Better Bus Bureau “F” RATING and Miracle Ear has been denied membership to BBB due to large number of SCAM complaints!!, and the list of especially Medicare Senior COMPLAINTS!! When I spoke to the “Billedeaux Hearing Ctr” that gets a large commission from Miracle Ear sales—even though I never picked up their hearing aids and requested them to VOID the document they pressured me to sign after my hearing test—Billedeaux Hearing Ctr REFUSED to void my “agreement”, and are trying to charge me $6,780 at $152/month at 11.99% interest for 5 YEARS!!! WHAT A SCAM & UNETHICAL!! I believe it is a criminal act to do this to vulnerable, hearing impaired Senior Medicare members…if not, it should be! I have excellent credit scores and do NOT want Billedeaux Hearimg Ctr (Miracle Ear) to put a “black mark” on my credit!! I am contacting BBB, Credit Bureaus, Federal Trade Commission, Miracle Ear Corporate (have to mail letter bc Miracle Ear has no email address for customers/complaints and they never answer the Corporate phone line or respond to my Voice Mail messages😕…Miracle Ear IS AN EXPENSIVE SCAM & Billedeaux is making a significant commission on these pressured sales…UNETHICAL!! and should be shut down!! DO NOT buy your hearing aids from Miracle Ear!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

  Excellent experience. I received the mailer for a free hearing exam. My wife has complained for years about my " not listening" so I thought why not? Read some not very flattering reviews on miracle ear in other locations ( they are a franchise) and expected a hard sell. I was treated very well both on the phone and in person. My appt time was spot on with no waiting. Went through a routine audiology test in a booth. When done the technician immediately discussed my results. Not to my suprise I do have some degree of hearing loss. Very much to my suprise there was No SalesPitch promising me perfect hearing with hearing aids...after all that's their business. I was told because of my type of hearing loss hearing aids would not help my type or degree of loss. I am impressed with their professionalism and integrity for not trying to sell me something I could not benefit from. Very refreshing. If I do eventually become a candidate for hearing aids they will definitely be my provider and I would definitely recommend them to friends.
