Absolutely appalling I had made an appointment to be seen but ended up waiting an hour. I had to of course cancel because it had already been an hour and there was no sign that anyone would see me anytime soon. They offered me an appointment basically a week from the day I had come in but having had to wait an hour there was no way as I had made the appointment for before a trip I was going on. Just an all around unpleasant experience

Brycen Stubbs is an exceptional and talented optical genius at Lens Crafters in Lafayette, La. He took two pairs of vintage designer sunglasses, Chanel and Versace, 20+ years old and put my new prescription bifocal lenses in them giving me two very cool pairs of eyeglasses. I get complemented every time I wear them. I’m so appreciative of finding such a talented guy to work with me! The other optical stores said it couldn’t be done!

This was my first time doing my eye exam here. I was nervous since the doctor Walpole be virtual, but it was great. Ms. Christy the store manager was the reason I decided to choose this place. And I’m so glad I did. The staff was nice and friendly. Ms. Christy helped me pick out the perfect frames for my face and she was honest about which ones looked best for my face. I will definitely return. Thank you Ms. Christy for everything. 🩷

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
