I went to this urgent care because I had been there before & they were nice and helpful in the past. The front desk receptionist was very nice, but Dr. Sidney Stamant was unprofessional. When he came into the room he didn’t even introduce himself & left the door open where I had no privacy. I went to have stitches removed from the back of my heel. He did not really examine me or listen to what I had to say. He put me back to work with a full release when I can barely walk or without having the stitches removed. He took two of them out & said it’s not time to take them out, but wants me to come back to have them removed. I couldn’t walk at all last week & the hospital I went to put me out of work indefinitely. Dr. Sidney basically said that I should’ve went back to work the next day after the incident. This is the first time in my life that I had a lack of care, consideration, or compassion from a medical facility after I get my stitches removed I will not be back.

If you are looking for rude, unprofessional, don’t care attitude then this is the place for you! Took my husband here to get his stitches removed from his ankle and to get it checked out and the doctor that saw him Dr. Sidney St. Amant was rude and just didn’t care to hear anything my husband had to say. He act like he didn’t believe a word he was telling him when he tried to explain to him that they did in fact put him out a whole week from work for the injury. He made the comment “ well I would’ve sent you to work the same day”. He said this twice! Mind you my husband couldn’t even walk around or put weight on his foot the day it happened and the couple days after. My husband tried to ask him a question work related and he cut him off and said “ you can do whatever you want”. How is this type of attitude professional? He didn’t even ask my husband any questions all he did was take a stitch out and say they weren’t ready to be taken out and that he would’ve sent him to work the same day he got the stitches. Not once did he ask my husband if he was still in any pain, could move his foot around or walk around on it. Unprofessional! Don’t care! Rude! We will not be coming back here for anything and will find somewhere else that actually cares about the patient.

Great compassionate doctors and nurses! They followed up with me about my test results and what to do next.

I took my 3-year-old son to this Urgent Care Yeaterday due to ear pain since our pediatrician’s office was closed. Unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Sidney St. Amant was very unpleasant. My son was clearly not feeling well and was in pain, and like most toddlers, he was scared in a medical setting. Dr. St. Amant immediately attempted to examine his ears without taking a moment to help him feel comfortable. When my son began crying, the doctor raised his voice and told him to “stop,” which was very upsetting to witness as a parent. After a very quick exam, I was told both ears were red and that he would be prescribed a 10-day antibiotic. When I asked a simple follow-up question about whether there was fluid or pus present, I was met with a dismissive and condescending response. I was told that fluid cannot be seen in the ear and that any doctor who says otherwise “is lying and doesn’t know what they’re talking about.” The lack of patience, compassion, and basic respect in communication was extremely disappointing. Dr. St. Amants bedside manners should be addressed.

Pleasant, experienced personnel, fast in and out, offered me a work excuse. Called me with xray report from radiologist. I recommend.
