  The process was quick and easy. I was able to get the hearing test done a few minutes after arriving. They explained the test results in a way that was easy to understand.

  Was sent to this Den Spgs office by Humana / TruHearing Program to get affordable discount SIGNIA hearing aids ($698/$999 premium) made by same manufacturer as Miracle Ear…comparable aids… The Rep did not go over any information on the SIGNIA aids and I feel I was pressured into signing a document at the hearing test visit, which I was blindsided because I was not told I would get a hard sell on a ME aid at this visit, totally unexpected. I am a disabled Senior whom never intended on signing a $6,000+ contract commitment with Miracle Ear and feel they are taking advantage of vulnerable impaired Seniors! Unethical and needs to be stopped!

  I was told my the RN who came to our house for our insurance company that I may need hearing aids. Humana will provide two different aids for about $1600 and $1700. The technician spent the first part of my appointment emptying all the trash cans in the office. He then did a fairly cursory hearing test and much of the time was spent trying to upsell me to a Miracle Ear device, saying that Tru Hearing was old technology and how much it was going to cost to clean and maintain the aids which was quite expensive. He did say I could try the Tru Hearing devices for 45 days and then trade them in for Miracle Ear, but that they probably would only last 3 years. My husband and I decided to take a little time to think about it. We ended up going to Costco where I was checked out by someone who asked about meds and health conditions that could effect hearing and who did a far more extensive test. She had worked for an ENT for 15 years before this job. She told me I was borderline and might be able to wait for awhile. She allowed me to walk around the store for an hour to see how they adjusted to background noise in the store, how speech clarity was and so forth. She said I could get a pair and use them for 6 months if necessary and still return them for a full refund. All rechecks, cleaning and adjustments were included and the aids should last about 5 years. Costco had three options at about $100 less each than the Tru Hearing. We’ll be going with Costco.

  Loved the experience, very thorough and informative.I have Tennitis and it interferes with my hearing. Definitely need hearing aids.
