The Little Clinic is located right inside your neighborhood grocery store. Our board-certified nurse practitioners and physician assistants can diagnose and treat minor illnesses, administer vaccines, provide physicals and much more! Plus, we are open 7 days a week and we take most insurance plans.
10/10 do not recommend to go here. I sat for almost an hour to not even be seen by a doctor. And... The front desk/tech person who did the strep throat swab pushed the swab so far back into my throat that it made me gag and throw up. Walked out still feeling like I did when I walked in and with no answers. You'll get better faster care at the urgent care center.

Had been waiting on seeing if I was going to be billed before leaving a review. About 24 hours later I was in fact billed so here was my experience. Scheduled appointment early Sunday morning, completed check in on mobile, a code was sent to me via text message. I called in an attempt to confirm prior to appointment. Let the phone ring for approximately 3 minutes before hanging up. Arrived used the code that was sent to me via text message, that didn't work. Waited approximately 5 minutes at check in with no one at counter I decided to leave rather than wasting anymore time. Just got billed today by a Samuel Evans. Logged into my account got the customer service # and I am currently disputing the bill.

This is a walk-in clinic inside the Kroger store in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Medical services are provided by a nurse practitioner. This facility is conveniently located adjacent to the Kroger Pharmacy.
They provide treatment for minor injury and illness, physical exams, vaccinations and routine prescription injections. This is not an emergency medical facility. They no not prescribe controlled substances.
Many insurance plans are accepted as well as payment at the time of service. Cost is substantially less than equivalent service at a hospital emergency department. Cash, checks and debit cards are accepted.
Hours are not the same as the Kroger store.
I come here twice a month for prescription injections. Usually good service, but occasionally so busy that there's a wait time in excess of two hours.
There's an option to pre-register online and that does reduce the wait time somewhat, however they suspend this service when they're busy. In addition, it is difficult to navigate the website and register for the specific Little Clinic you want. And if you do succeed in registering properly, you need to remember a code number to compete registration when you arrive. This service is not an appointment, they do not make appointments.
Although it's occasionally a lot of trouble, it's still more convenient than getting an injection at a physician's office, which requires an appointment in advance and usually takes about two hours every time.
The staff are friendly and efficient, parking is free and usually reasonably convenient, and I shop while I'm waiting.
