My son was seen at an Immediate Care @ Holiday Manor due to stitches. They were fantastic and the prescription for his antibiotic cream was sent to the Kroger Pharmacy in Prospect, Timberwood Drive. My son proceeded to go there, where they claim that they had no record of him. I called back to the Immediate Care and they said it just takes a little bit, but yes, they did send the prescription. He proceeded to go back to the Kroger Pharmacy the following morning and they said again, they did not have any record, so he went to the Walgreens in Prospect (thinking it was sent there), where they did not have a record of him, either. I called the Immediate Care back, and they said they absolutely sent it to the Kroger on Timber Ridge Drive. The Immediate Care was very nice, and they called Kroger Pharmacy and were on hold forever, but finally spoke to someone to straighten out. I waited 20 minutes (to give them time to fill it) and then I went to Kroger for my son to get his prescription, and I spoke to Amanda, the Pharmacy Manager. I explained that he was flying out to go on a trip in an hour, and that's why this was so pressing. She was quite curt and explained it was not their fault that they did not get the prescription. She continued, that it was the "script" company they use fault and that it happened all the time. My advice to Kroger would be to get another script company or just have tangible prescriptions from now on if this is a matter that occurs quite frequently, like Amanda stated. She then proceeded to tell me I Iwould need to wait another15 minutes! This is where customer service should have been trying to improve relations with the customer. She should have said to me, "We are going to expedite this and we apologize for all the inconveniences your son and you have had." There was no one in that pharmacy, waiting in line or anything. They did not look busy at all, and they had ample staff. It was not a complex medication; nothing narcotic, that was being filled. I personally would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone! I was against another grocery store coming into the area. Frankly, if this kind of customer service is going to happen, then maybe Kroger should not be in business anymore. I have never had an issue with Costco Brownsboro and they are kind and friendly. Keegan, at the Kroger Pharmacy was pleasant when I went back to pick it up via the drive thru and he even gave me a coupon. He went above and beyond, and it's a shame that he has a manager that's incompetent and unkind.

Long wait time to pick-up meds that have been call in by provider that is if they even bothered to fill them. Most times they don't or they don't have the medication in stock. Calling after your Dr or ER sends over the prescription to ask them to fill it is pointless because the Pharmacy doesn't pick-up the phone and if they do they still can't be bothered to fill it.

This location has had serious issues for months. It now takes 20 minutes minimum to wait in line and pick up a prescription which has already been prepared and paid. Be sure to call in or order your prescriptions online, because you will not be able to order and pick up in a single visit unless you want to be at Kroger for two hours. Even if you come on your lunch break or early morning, the waits are ridiculous. Kroger needs to hire more people and pay them more to keep their staff.
