  First off this was my 1 st visit to this office .in my opinion they were just ok but not smiling or friendly . The mood almost seems like they hated their jobs .I went for my yearly prevention check up which is 100% paid for by my Insurance . Then I received a bill for 90$ and they do not accept Blue View Anthem Insurance to my surprise . After receiving the bill I called my insurance and they agreed it should have been covered and called Murray ophthalmology and Teresa said that they filed it under medical since they don’t accept Blue View and that a patient should know their own insurance coverage . In my opinion when I gave them my insurance card , they should have seen the Blue View on the card and informed me of that information .I paid the bill but won’t let this happen again . And I also will not be back due to how this was handled and the unfriendly staff from the receptionist to the doctors assistant .

  Dr Bryson is wonderful. Had cataract surgery, was a little nervous after it was done. Because of that, he called me twice to check on me. That's above and beyond in my book.

  My husband and I are new to the area. We both needed checkups and he needed cataract surgery. We found each and every one of our interactions to be courteous, respectful and kind. We did not have insurance issues because we both took our current insurance cards.

  My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Capps for over five years. He has done cataract surgery on me, and I was quite satisfied. However, when I made appointments for our annual checkups, I was told "If there have been any changes in your insurance, bring the new cards." We have the same insurance as last year, so my wife did not carry her purse. When I told the receptionist this, she replied very hatefully, "There's a sign right there on the door that says if you don't have your card, you will have to reschedule the appointment." Okay, so that's the rule and we are not better than anyone else. However, I refused to be talked to in the tone of voice she used with me. I replied, "Well, give me my card back also." Her response was less than professional to say the least. We will not be going back.
