I scheduled an appointment for a sports physical post COVID for my son. In the online registration the day prior to the appointment i provided the details. When we get there they say they can't do this type of physical. I mentioned that they could have reviewed the notes and let me know ahead of time so we didn't waste our time coming there. His response was that wasting my time wasn't his problem. Terrible customer service. There's a reason they have the rating they do.

Nurse checking me in made me feel very unwelcome and basically unwilling to assist me even though I had an appointment

Lina the receptionist was rude. Online status said they were not busy and welcomed walk-ins. But when we checked in, the computer said it would be a 7 hour wait. Lina irritatedly said she could only squeeze us in if an appointment did not show up.

TL;DR in the last paragraph. The rest is just context. All the context, actually.
Scheduling an appointment to get a COVID test was easy. While I was there I heard an announcement that there were a couple of left over vaccines (I assume from cancelled appointments) that would need to be used before they weren't viable and I thought that was pretty cool. That's a great way to get someone who otherwise may have not bothered to get the vaccine to go ahead and do it. You're already there.
However. The poor experiences outweigh that positive. I was given instructions to park in a specific parking spot and call that number. I did. She told me to come inside. I called back to make sure she understood I had COVID symptoms and the sign said to remain in my car (in bold, capital, red letters). I used a kiosk to sign in--which wasn't wiped down and nothing was provided for patients to do it themselves after use.
The testing itself went fine. The technician (I apologize if there is a more accurate title, but I'm not sure if the person I saw was a doctor or nurse, she never introduced herself) talked about the inaccuracy of the rapid test and that I would be required to take the PCR(?) test if the results of the rapid test were negative. She said it takes 2-3 days to get the results, but sometimes they get back as early as 24 hours. If it were positive I would get a phone call first. either way I'll receive an email with the results.
I decided I should register/access the patient portal so when the results are available I'll have access. The practice it pulls up from the unique practice code is from Tennessee. That's not right. I try using the "Healow" app and hit the same wall. So I called The Little Clinic. She said it was because I was locked out for trying to log in too many times. That can't be so, I never got that far. I did my best to explain a few sentences at a time between slightly labored breaths. She apologized for not being able to help. All she could do was verify my info and let me know that my results were not in yet. I asked if she could provide the practice code for that particular clinic. She could not, which seems incorrect. Either she couldn't be bothered or she didn't know it and couldn't be bothered to ask. To be fair my brain is very foggy; as I am experiencing almost all of the COVID symptoms. (seriously, I've been working on this review for hours and I actually have someone transcribing this for me.) [Note from transcriber: Hello, there! No worries, we're still quarantining. We're doing this over the phone!]
So here I am. Really hoping I don't get a phone call tomorrow but also concerned that if I don't I may never get my results. I'm exhausted and panicky as it is. Adding all this uncertainty is draining the last of my energy.
If procedure changes (like that of the parking spot) or if you don't have information you should (the code to the practice at which you are employed); then something needs to be done. I am doing a lot better than some others experiencing symptoms. It is still plausible that I just have the worst sinus infection that I or any of my friends have ever seen. I can't imagine trying to go through what I went through this morning if I was having any more trouble breathing, or if I were more sore or fatigued than I am.
Long story short; they have laxed all their procedures and failed to update instructions to patients. The way my issues were handled makes me feel like the The Little Clinic isn't concerned about COVID as long as they get paid.

Went into the little clinic because I wasn’t feeling well for a few days. Thought it might be a cold, but just wanted to make sure it wasn’t the flu or anything too serious. After waiting for over an hour and then being skipped over as they let someone else in before me, I was finally seen. All I have is a cold, but they prescribed me a steroid and an antibiotic that is meant to treat a cough. I do not have a cough. Also, steroids aren’t meant to treat a cold. I find it deeply concerning that I, someone who has never been to med school or nursing school knows more about basic prescriptions than someone whose career greatly depends on this basic knowledge. I listed all of my symptoms and it was like Bryan Trent didn’t listen at all. His lack of knowledge could do much more harm than good. I will never be returning to the little clinic, until they hire someone who actually knows what they’re doing. If I could give zero stars I would.
