  Great staff. They got me in quick when I had an emergency and they got me lined up with a care plan for getting my mouth and gums put together

  This was our first visit to Parkway and we couldn’t have had a better experience Everyone was welcoming explaining everything from his current condition how it got that way and a course of treatment with payment options . They could not have made a better first impression.

  The dental hygienist and the front receptionist workers were very nice but after too many aggressive examinations done by Dr. Rachel I might just have to be on the market for a different dentist/location. She was professional however she was just way too overly aggressive from the way she was stretching my mouth. I felt like I was manhandled and felt very uncomfortable (using 2 fingers to open my mouth rapidly from different angles and hitting my frenulum a few times). I felt more comfortable with the dental hygienist when she did it because she was a lot more gentler and it felt like I was treated more like a human. Also when I had explained to Dr. Rachel about my recent dentist appointment in Boston to see if they would need to obtain my new X-rays from there, without asking if I had use dental insurance.. she paused and then gave me a mini lecture on how that would affect my dental insurance and how this visit would not be covered to which I had immediately responded that I did not use dental insurance with the dental office in Boston. This made me feel uneasy because it was apparent that she felt more concerned about getting reimbursed than working on my teeth while she was in my mouth. Last but not least, when she showed me a picture of my molar and told me to keep an eye on it because of how close it was getting to become a filling, I asked how I could and how I could prevent more deep stains from forming to which she gave me vague answers to such as “just be extra careful with it” which wasn’t very helpful at all. Overall it was an okay experience and she was polite but as a patient I would want a dentist that showed me that they cared and treats me a little more like a human so I’m sorry to say but I think I would do better elsewhere.

  My Dentist of 30 yrs stopped accepting my insurance and I needed to find a new Dentist and I was concerned because I was comfortable and very familiar with mine. I decided to schedule an appointment with Parkway Family Dental and I am so glad I did. The front desk staff is so nice and friendly! My Hygienist Kristie was awesome ! She is knowledgeable and thorough, she makes you feel so comfortable. Dr. Rachel is awesome also , so gentle, knowledgeable, and thorough also. If you are in search of a New dental office run don’t walk to Parkway Family Dental you will be glad you did.
