  Was supposed to be seen as a high importance appointment just told be told when I arrived the nurse practitioner wasn’t in that I was supposed to see. I also had an ultrasound appointment they refused to do since I hadn’t been seen there. Very disappointed! Going back to UofL…

  First, this is not specific to this location, this is my experience as a whole. I have been a patient for four years now and had been very happy with the doctors' care and efforts to resolve some changes I've experienced since the birth of my son. However, recently it has been nearly impossible to be seen/ get an appointment. I have had a problem for nearly 3 months and have only been able to get an emergency/ follow up forexperience had an appointment scheduled for this Monday and took off work to go only for the doctor to cancel the day of the appointment right before I left the house. The receptionist that called said they had appointments available one of the next two days and that there were no locations I could go the same day. After making the appointment, I called back and reiterated that I really needed to be seen because I took off. The receptionist told me they don't make same day appointments and the nurse would have to make the decision. When I didn't hang up because I was waiting on an answer, she sounded like she had an attitude and told me the message had been sent. I NEVER received a call back that day. There were other issues during these 3 months, but this was the last straw.

  Just spoke to the most unprofessional rude secretaries or medical assistants. The ladies that take the appointment. Sherry was very dismissive she acted as if I was interrupting her day...I was trying to make an emergency appointment as a new patient explained to all 3 of them that I just moved to the area military retired spouse/service member. I needed to see someone and do new patient paperwork to make the office my primary doctors office. They were very rude telling me that they didnt have any appointments all their emergency appointments were booked plus I'm a new patient it doesnt work like that I need to go to the hospital with symptoms like that. Then the last lady asked me with a scoff kind of attitude, do you have insurance? This definitely Is not a place i would want to call home. No compassion at all and i recommend they definitely need to get some kind of customer service training. Empathy training. My search continues
