  I was taken here several weeks ago with lower back pain. My 90 minute stay resulted in a $6000 bill. I ran out of prescription muscle relaxers about 10 days later, and they would not refill them. I guess they want $6000 to refill that prescription.

  I was seen by a member of the Norton Leatherman Spine Team and was very pleased. My concerns were taken seriously, I was given information that was very helpful, and I was referred for physical therapy. I highly recommend this medical group.

  Before having spinal surgery I was mostly confined to a chair. I could only walk a short distance. I couldn’t stand very long without having to sit down and rest. Shopping was out of the question. On December 15, 2022, I had one of 2 spine surgeries with Dr Gum, and it’s been life changing. I highly recommend Dr Gum!

  After an unsuccessful spine surgery elsewhere, I was referred to Dr. Gum. The first visit was a virtual one, but Dr. Gum had all the images from before my unsuccessful surgery. He immediately spotted what another well recognized surgeon had missed, a spinal stenosis that could have led to my being paralyzed and/or losing balance. I was also having other sciatic nerve issues that the spinal stenosis surgery was not expected to relieve. Dr. Gum's surgery was more that successful. It took care of the spinal stenosis and relieved most of the other sciatic nerve issues. I highly recommend him and the staff at Norton.
