I went here because of an eye infection. No appointment. Lynn and Sally Pike were very helpful. They got me the eye drops I needed and it cleared up pretty quickly. Thanks for the help, I wish more doctors offices were this efficient

I am a kidney transplant recipient and when I get sick I am ‘down for the count’ so to speak. Today I just felt the weight of the world and I actually cried in the clinical office. A nurse named Katie asked some questions and genuinely showed her concern for me and I was able to get myself in a better state of mind. Katie showed empathy and I would like to think that has a positive impact on my current physical pains.

$200 for a steroid shot visit for poison ivy. I was miserable and HAD to have a shot and somehow I owed no co-pay but then I was slapped with a $200 bill when my colleague (with the SAME insurance) who also had this issue went to another urgent care provider and only paid $50. Norton continues to be a money-hungry facility where care provided is secondary to getting money from you. I set this up on a bill pay just to avoid paying for it all up front and Norton notified me that my bank card on file was going to expire a month before it actually did. Yes, that means Norton Healthcare let me know my debit card was due to expire before my BANK. They have also called me 50 times to let me know that I need to update my card. All for a $25 payment. They give more care and attention to bill pay than they do care for their patients in some regard. This is just one experience, but I just would never seek them out in the future -- not in hospital care, not urgent care, or anything because of this. Healthcare is a necessity, and yes our healthcare system is broken, but acting like a vulture for payment and also overcharging for basic care is insane.

Inappropriate and borderline fraudulant coding/over billing for simple sick visits. I even called in advance to confirm costs and bill was 2.5x higher than expected. I work in healthcare and this is wrong.

I’m just annoyed because when I came in with my face swollen, I told the APRN it was not an ulcer, I’ve had many ulcers. I told her I was concerned this could be my parotid gland. She still went with ulcer and prescribed me steroids and oral lidocaine. I had to go to a different clinic this morning because my face was swollen much worse in lots of pain - it was in fact my parotid gland. I am now on antibiotics but I also have wasted $80, time and pain that I didn’t have to if she listened to me. Plus if we were guessing, I feel like antibiotics would be a safer choice than steroids considering the swelling and pain going on. Not her fault she probably hasn’t treated many people with this issue, just wish I felt more listened to.
