- AAAxelleJan 13, 20261.0I booked an appointment with Dr. John Rice on 12/8 specifically for my annual physical exam, which is covered by my insurance. I clearly stated this when scheduling. After the visit, I was told I owe $400 because it was considered a first-time office visit simply because I had never seen this doctor before. This was never disclosed. This was my first experience with Norton Healthcare, and it has been awful. If seeing a new doctor means your annual exam will not be honored, patients should be clearly informed upfront. This has never been an issue with UofL or any other healthcare provider I’ve used. I scheduled this visit solely to use my covered annual exam and ended up with a $400 bill for nothing. Extremely disappointed….AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

I am picking up a prescription that to my knowledge was filled before I left the Doctors office way over 3 hours ago. The pharmacy and I have contacted the Clinic for the Doctor to sign off. After several attempts still nothing has been done on the Doctors office side. CVS even asked for the dosage so they could take care of me & send me home. I was finally told by office staff that it could be filled in the next five minutes or not until 5. One office person even told me she would just go home if it were her. I feel like I am in an episode of the Twilight Zone. The Doctors are good, that’s the only positive thing I can say about this Clinic right now.
