  Super frustrated. I scheduled an appt online after researching the different providers. While filling out the reasons for my visit, I listed hives as my number one concern, along with thyroid and cholesterol as secondary concerns. I received a phone call that due to my diagnosis they needed to switch me to a different provider. I was actually happy about this because I thought she must be an expert in figuring out what’s going on with hives. That was not the case, at all. When I told her the reason for my visit her response was, “ I don’t know about hives. Your allergist needs to tell you about that.” In actuality, my allergist thought she may be able to determine the underlying factor that was causing the hives… If I had an over abundance or a deficit in something. I explained this to her two times and she did not do any lab work and was absolutely no help. She did, however, look over my thyroid and cholesterol and talk to me about those two things. I left frustrated because I want to get to the bottom of what’s causing these hives. I don’t actually think it was her fault, but somewhere the process is flawed when I get scheduled with a provider, that knows nothing about my primary concern. So essentially, I took a half a day off work, traveled two hours, and paid $50 for nothing.

  I absolutely love this office! Dr. Spear and Dr. Poorkay are amazing. All the office staff are great and very helpful.

  We have been waiting 5 months for an appointment in Elizabethtown for our son and we got changed to a place north of Louisville and they can only make an appointment as soon as September. this system is a joke. they say accepting new patients but they really do not.
