  Waited for this appointment for a month and 1/2. They called us a day before and said: doctor has cancelled you! Taking time of work etc. NOT COOL!

  Update: I reached out to the email below and have not heard anything back. would love the opportunity to speaks with someone. Friendly, knowledgable physicians. Shady billing practices. Incompetent operational model. I have no complaint withe competence of the providers. However, the inability to come anywhere close to seeing you at your appointment times is frustrating. We have 5 children between out biological and foster children so we've been here often. My larger complaint is w/ the way they code and bill for preventative visits. In the past, when we were self pay, we were billed over $100 for a resident reviewing a questionnaire we filled out about a toddler's development. Now that we're on traditional insurance, we're very careful not to ask about anything outside of the normal preventative exam (covered by out insurance). When a provider or nurse asks if we have any concerns, we always say, "no." Several times, including out most recent visit, the provider "found something" that they were concerned about, in this case, psoriasis in a 12-mo old. We've dealt with it before, we weren't concerned, I repeatedly reiterated this point, but wouldn't you know, billing coded our visit as preventative + management of a medical condition, so we get a bill in the mail for a regular sick child visit. I suppose this leaves us with only the option of being obtuse and belligerent in our insistence that only preventative care be provided. Maybe I'll get some custom onesies and t-shirts that say "preventative care only, please!" in big bold letters on the front.
