- FTFae ThomasJan 3, 20255.0Great, kind Dr. Got a bad staph infection from surgery elsewhere. Knew about my rare condition that required original surgery (big deal, no one ever knows about it). Was super aggressive & smart w/ treatment. Tons of IV antibiotics & 2 surgeries to clean out chest cavity & install/remove wound vac. Sent home w/ drain tube as precaution. Then different incision starting draining bad but not infected. Smart enough to know superficial & didn't require hospital. Here I am 18 days later, infection completely gone, no drainage, feel good, lungs clearing, etc. Can't thank him enough for being so knowledgeable, efficient & preventing sepsis. Overall scary experience but actually picked the right hospital!:)
