Fast, friendly, and clean. This was by far the fastest id I've ever been in and out for emergency services!

I never want to step foot in that hospital or ER ever again. An RN tried to feed a PICC line in my forearms EIGHT times, rupturing 2 vessels before calling for another RN! I believe protocol is 3 sticks. Dr Elvis Joseph was condescending, dismissive, abrupt & in a hurry to let me walk out of ER to my car on a walker alone. Our medical systems are broken & Norton's is a perfect example. No wonder concierge practices are popping up.

I just want to give the absolute best praises to nurse Morgan in ICU. My dad is battling cancer and had to have emergency surgery and she was his nurse and she went so above and beyond for him in every way she shows she obviously loves her job and cares about what she does I really hope she’s shown appreciation from this hospital for how great she is thank you so much Morgan.

So far we have been pleased with everything other than the parking, especially the handicapped parking spots. We hap to walk quite a distance with a wheelchair. Everyone was very polite and helpful. There was a drop of blood in one of the chairs in the lab department, but other than that, the phlebotomist was amazing. She didn't even hurt when drawing blood. I pointed out the blood in the chair and she thanked me and immediately cleaned it.

I was 64. I had my first of two surgeries at Norton Brownsboro. Everything was fine until the data incident and subsequent result in potential exposure of confidential and personal information of current and former patients and employees, which happened on or around May 9, 2023. The entire Norton Health System had been hacked. The hospital was in chaos because all computers and computer driven equipment were down. I had been told I needed to stay overnight post surgery and had just gotten back to my room a couple hours prior, and was just coming out of anesthesia, nerve block wearing off, drains dangling, 30 staples and bandages from toes to mid thigh. Nurses were so busy trying to figure out how to get patients their medications, type nursing notes, communicate with drs in other areas and get supplies for patients without use of their computers, there was no one in the patient rooms to take care of them. CNA's who would be able to respond were being sent as runners to other floors like the pharmacy, to deal with getting meds manually with hand written orders for the patients. I was still very groggy and needed to use the bathroom which was about 20 feet away from my bed. I had been instructed NOT to get up without ringing the "call button" for help first. I could not ring the bell, as the call button was no where to be found, the phone that I could have called the operator or nurses station on was on a side table way across the room. I had no bedside commode and no walker or other assistive device brought in yet. My surgery type, prevented me from walking steady at all. I could not feel one leg at all. The door to my room was partially opened, so I hollered "HELP! HELP! NURSE?! ANYONE?! for about 5 minutes and no one answered. I was down at the very end of a long hallway. Finally, my bladder could no longer withstand so, not wanting to lay in a wet bed for who knows how long, I got up on my own and got to the bathroom. I don't know how I did it and nearly fell a couple times. The door to the bathroom was a farm door style that slid side to side but had a track only at the top and was VERY heavy. I slid it open and then when sliding it closed, it fell partway off its track and was just hanging there sideways!! I left it alone and moved away as fast as I could so it wouldn't fall on me. I went and sat on the toilet, since that's where I was headed anyway. I was terrified it would fall on me and injure me, and traumatized at the isolation and lack of help having just gotten out of surgery and couldn't even feel my leg right or be clear-headed or have nurse contact. I attended to my business. When I was done, I saw the emergency cord in the bathroom next to the toilet so I stayed where I was and pulled that to get help getting back to bed. No one came for around 10 minutes. (Later it was shown to not be working), I hollered again and again for help and was saying I was stuck in my bathroom and the door was going to fall and that I couldn't get up from the toilet or get out of the bathroom. A patient in the room across the hall from me shouted was I ok and I said no, I'm stuck in the bathroom with no way to call the nurse, call button cant access, and door coming off the hinges etc. I asked THAT patient to push HER call button and get a nurse to MY room ASAP, that I was stuck in the bathroom and the door may fall on me. I was in so much pain from having to do that myself and emotionally a wreck, mortified and terrified. The Cavalry of nurses and maintenance came and I had to sit there on the toilet baring it all while these maintenance men tried to figure out this heavy farm-style door mess! I was finally rescued and back in bed with pain meds and nurses basically sucking up to me for whatever they could do or bring me. **Other than that...... the room and bathroom were clean, food was great and most nurses were kind and professional. Most of my care was delayed hours because of the data breech. (medications, meals, PT orders, CNA help for ADL's and care, bandage changing and drain emptying/pulling. etc)
