  I had a hearing test with my ENT doctor. It showed I had hearing issues in both ears especially with understanding words in a group setting which is very true of me. He also advised me to get my hearing aids at Costco. I soon found out that Costco was out of network for my insurance. I’m glad I didn’t go there because my hearing loss is considered the kind that you need advanced hearing aids. They are priced higher of course but for good reasons. I then went to Miracle Ear on Hurstbourne Pkway. Brandon conducted my hearing test which showed nearly the same issues that my doctor found, not able to hear words in loud settings stood out.His exam was much more detailed than my doctor’s. Brandon was also very knowledgeable about hearing issues and hearing aids. I’m sorry, I forget his title. Unfortunately my insurance had listed Miracle Ear as in network but it wasn’t due to some insurance glitches that I didn’t quite understand . I want to praise both Brandon and Bridget, who runs the office. They were both kind and professional. I didn’t feel pressured at all.I’m sorry I wasn’t able to use their services but I think this review will encourage others to consider them especially if they have serious issues like mine. Over the counter hearing aids might be okay for mild symptoms but not for more serious types.

  Bridgett is the best worker you people have! Always welcoming and she knows the patients by name! She’s the main reason I keep coming back !

  Tried to scam my grandmother! Would give them zero stars if I could. This business used to sell and service a different brand of hearing aids. When my 88 year old grandmother went in to have her rechargeable batteries replaced - which must be done yearly - she was told they could no longer service them due to a lack of parts. They told her that the manufacturer had gone out of business due to a number of lawsuits over exploding batteries (just like the ones she was there to get) and insisted that she’d need to buy a whole new set of hearing aids for thousands of dollars. Thankfully my grandmother told them that she’d have to think about it since her current batteries still had a little life in them. I looked into it after she told me what happened, and with a little googling I found out that the company was clearly still in business, had no lawsuits, exploding batteries, or anything of the sort. In one phone call to them I had two new batteries shipped directly to her house and installed them myself. Scamming the elderly is beyond disgusting! My grandmother is an incredibly sharp, mobile and independent woman that is not easily fooled. She’s lucky enough to have a close family that always looks out for her. I feel terrible for the people that frequent this shop and fall for their lies. I’ll be calling Miracle Ear corporate directly to complain and make them aware of the situation.
