Dr. Snipes is wondering if. Now the male and female at the front desk today December 20,2025 makes this practice looks terrible. My daughter had an appointment at 12:20, I called at 11:20 to tell them we be about 2-5 mins late. I was told it be ok as long as we are there before 12:30. We arrived at 12:22 my daughter who is 17 went to checked in while I was parking. I quickly found a parking spot and walked in at 12:25. My daughter was still standing in line while the male took his jolly time having a friendly conversation with someone, the female she was just sitting there not acknowledging anyone. Then the male finally acknowledged us and he had the audacity to tell me that we are late when I said my daughter been standing her for 8 mins and I 5 mins while you had a personal conversation. He proceeded to tell me the doctor can’t see my daughter because we was late and need to reschedule another appointment online. I reminded him that we were 2 mins late and not 10 minutes. Then while I was talking to him a white female and her child walked in saying they need check in they already 10 mins late and the male receptionist proceeded check them in and said it’s ok. But we were not late and he told me I need to reschedule my daughter appointment. I don’t want to say he was being racist but I feel like he was. This male who was at the reception today 12/20 should not allow to woke on a public place where customers service is a priority. He is a total embarrassment to this wonderful practice Dr. snipe built.
My entire family been seeing Dr. snipes for over 15 years. This was such a disappointment today that I will not be going back to this location.
I am beyond disappointed with how the reception spoken to me and my 17 years old child today.

I have been going to LensCrafters for many years. The service and quality of their eyewear is unmatched. I tried other places but their eyewear didn't hold up. Yes LensCrafters is a bit pricey but if you want high quality eyewear that's going to last it's the place too go.

Wonderful staff, fixed my glasses where the nose pieces don’t hurt my nose and put one of the lenses back on where it sticking out. Before that they replaced the frames on my glasses that I had a warranty on. Love Lens Crafters.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
