- BBBurchell BowlingSep 23, 20241.0Called for an appointment and they were happy to until i mentioned i needed some teeth extracted and wanted implants/ false teeth were a possibility. Then they weren't accepting new patients just for that. I guess it’s all about money. Edit: After they replied it should be know : I was never told that on the phone. Just that they aren’t accepting new patients for dentures. If thats the case then they need to educate their staff on how to explain that on the phone.
- AKAngela KilburnDec 6, 20233.0I have been going to Dowell and Dowell for more than 10 years. They have always been so kind and accommodating. I even got my husband to switch over. However, since they moved to their new facility I have had some difficulties. Last time I was there having my teeth cleaned I needed to have a small cavity filled. However, it was late in the afternoon and they did not have time to do it. That was understandable. I live about 15 miles away and my work schedule is similar to their hours, so it is hard for me to take off to come in. Dr. Dowell said it would not be a problem to wait until my next cleaning in 6 months to have it done then. So I scheduled my appointment for 6 months out. There ended up being a conflict with my husbands Christmas party on the date I scheduled, but when I called to reschedule they REFUSED to schedule me for a cleaning and a cavity fill on the same day, no matter how long in the future it was. It is apparently against their policy?! I don’t understand why, maybe it’s because they will get more money from my insurance from two visits? Well my schedule is too busy to come to two appointments within a few weeks, so unfortunately I’ll be finding a dentist who can schedule a cleaning and a cavity fill on the same day. I’m very disappointed in their new policy and lack of customer service today.
