This was the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. I went in for my first visit that was scheduled for an initial check up/dental cleaning. An assistant took dental X-rays and then Dr. Ufomata came out introduced himself, looked at my teeth briefly, and then showed me on the X-rays where he wanted to fill 2 cavities and had also mentioned previously filled silver fillings that I had on my teeth that he wanted to remove and place porcelain fillings instead. He doesn’t speak the best English so he was relying heavily on his assistant to tell me exactly what he wanted to do. He walked away once she started explaining without saying anything else. This should have been a sign for me not to return however, I didn’t want to place judgement on English most likely being his second language and the assistant explained thoroughly along with answering my questions. They did not do a cleaning during this session and said that it wasn’t something they did since I had cavities I needed to get them filled first. I scheduled to have my cavities filled. My next appointment, I was taken to the back to wait for the Dr. when he came in, he asked how I was doing while bringing the chair down to get started. The assistant told me to take a deep breath in and the Dr. injected a numbing agent in 3 different places of my upper right oral cavity. The process felt extremely rushed. They then left the treatment area and came back approximately 5-10 mins later. The Dr. got started drilling. I immediately started feeling pain and waved my hand up, hoping that would sound the Dr. to stop— however he kept going. I started to raise up and the Dr. still tried to keep working as if I would just lay back down. He got frustrated when I raised up and told me that he cut the inside of my mouth due to me moving. I explained to him that I could still feel everything he was doing. He gave me another injection of the numbing agent and walked out again. When he came back after another 5-10 mins, he asked if I felt numb now and I replied “I think so” I also apologized for moving so frantically and explained that I didn’t expect to feel anything so it took me by surprise. He said to me “this time, no matter what, don’t move, that he could cut me again and it would send me to the hospital” I laid back as still as possible. My body was shaking and the nerves in my face were twitching because once again, I could still L feel everything he was doing. It was a very rough experience. Not once did the Dr. stop to check on me. After he left the assistant explained that I needed to schedule for my next fillings to be done and pointed at the X-ray saying that I have 2 more on my bottom right molars. I explained this was never pointed out to me before because my first appointment I was told I only had two and he had just filled 2 of them. I asked for my dental records after leaving to find care elsewhere. I am not even 100% that I had cavities to begin with, the X-rays were never explained to me as in how he diagnosed me having them. If you want to sit through torturous dental work, awful bedside manner, and no explanation on your diagnosis this is the place for you. I will not be returning. The rest of the staff were pleasant and should find work elsewhere.

They are the worst dentist in Lexington Kentucky. don't have a clue on what they are doing reject. When they don't want to fix their mess they say you owe more money. Need a zero.
