This is long and super sorry for that. Please read it through if you can. I'm giving 1 star because that's the lowest I can go. I had a contact lenses appt on 9/22/25. I booked the appt online because I had received many emails and texts asking me to do so. I booked my appt online. The doctor was wonderful and adjusted my contacts perfectly. The front desk staff person, and apparently a trainee, were not friendly at all. I waited 2 days to order contacts to be sure my new prescription worked well for me. When I called to order, everything went fine and I received them about 2 days later. Very happy about that. However, they were the wrong Rx (my previous prescription). When I called to ask about it, I was informed it was my fault because I scheduled my appointment online instead of calling the office. They said it created another account when I did that. They did not apologize for the error and said I needed to bring them in to reorder the correct Rx. When I took them back (literally 15 minutes after our phone conversation), the person who took care of me complained to the "trainee" that she wished they wouldn't let customers book online. She said I could reorder but it would cost me another $189 because the prescription was for one year, even though they originally sent me a six-month Rx as I requested. I explained to her that even if there were more accounts for me, the prescription they filled was expired. She did not acknowledge that and stood by what she said. I asked for a refund, and she said she would refund me all but the shipping cost. After talking with her more, she finally refunded me the entire amount. I have never been treated like this and I will not ever go back to LensCrafters. I am also going to spread the word to everyone I know about this and hope they find another eye care facility.

Our salesman Phillip was very great in getting glasses and lenses for my wife, daughter and me. There were a few issues with pricing on the computer he noticed were not correct but partnered with another associate to find the correct price. I appreciate that they found the error, partnered and, corrected all
In good time.

I literally walked in the store and never was greeted by ANY EMPLOYEE- I walked around for 25 minutes they treated me as if I was invisible! Not one person spoke to me !!!! Terrible customer service !! Back story - I love glasses ! I’m here visiting for work and wanted to see what different types of selections they have - I BOUGHT FOUR PAIRS FROM MY RIVER OAKS LOCATION LAST WEEK! THANKS for helping them earn more of my business !
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
