Had noon appointment and got there 11:50. At that point was informed they were behind and Dr still with 10am patient. We left.
This is for the optometrist in the LensCrafters office not lenses but certainly can’t order the glasses without the prescription. Why even take appointments??

Dr. Snipes and his staff were pleasant, friendly and solicitous. It had been years since my last eye exam and I wasn’t sure what to expect as I had gotten by for years with my “cheaters.” However, this exam was very thorough and Dr. Snipes explained the results clearly and reassuringly.
In addition, Shawn, the technician who helped me choose my new glasses and sunglasses was SO helpful and gave me several attractive options. I chose two of the ones she pulled - a pair of eyeglasses and a pair of sunglasses. I couldn’t have done it so quickly without her assistance as the display of options was daunting! The feedback from another assistant was also helpful in making my choices.
Overall, I highly recommend LensCrafters at The Summit and its wonderful staff.

My husband and I were looking for last-minute Christmas gifts, and thought we had seen on a website where this location opened at 8 o’clock. However, when we arrived, they did not open until 9 o’clock. A super kind representative, Shawn Combs, came and unlocked the door and welcomed us in. She was extremely helpful and did not seem bothered by our early arrival. She went above and beyond to show us glasses in stock and was knowledgeable about the product: we will definitely return! Thanks so much!

I have bought every pair of glasses I have owned in the last 15 years from Lens Crafters. My son is 3 and little so we opted to purchase his glasses online just because there was a slightly bigger selection. They came too big, so on a whim I decided to try LensCrafters to adjust them before I sent them back. The gentleman that helped us tonight was so sweet. He was so gentle and kind with my timid 3yr old and helped us without hesitation. He also encouraged us to come back if they loosen up as he wears them. I was already contemplating writing this review, but it was solidified as we were leaving. There was an older women struggling to get out the door. He ran over to open the door and the realized she need help with her coat. He got that on for her and helped her with her walker through the door. Will definitely keep going here.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
